English referee Michael Oliver and his compatriot assistant
referees Stuart Burt and Gary Beswick will be joined by Costa Rican fourth
official Ricardo Montero as the team of officials for the FIFA U-17 World Cup
Chile 2015 final between Mali and Nigeria in Vina Del Mar on Sunday 8 November.
Oliver has been a FIFA listed international referee since
2012, and has been an official in the English Premier League since 2010, taking
charge of his first game aged 25, which made him the youngest ever Premier
League referee.
He was in Ashington, Northumberland England on 20 February 1985 was introduced into refereeing at the age of 14 by his father Clive. In 2007, he became the youngest ever referee to officate a match at the Wembley Staduim when he took charge of the National Conference Playoff Final.
