This movie is based on book released in 2010 by Pastor Todd Burpo and Lynn Vincent of the same title written by Chris Parker and directed by Randall Wallance.
The movie released on the 16th of April 2014 by Sony Pictures Entertainment in conjunction with TriStar Pictures is the story of a four-year-old son of a pastor from
Imperial, Nebraska who says he experienced
Heaven during emergency surgery.
He talked about looking down to see the doctor
operating and his dad praying in the waiting room. The family did not know what
to believe. In Heaven, Colton says he met his miscarried sister whom no one had
ever told him about and his great-grandfather who died 30 years before Colton
was born.
He shared supposedly impossible-to-know details about each. Colton
went on to describe the horse that Jesus had and his physical appearance.
The movie is a MUST watch starring Greg Kinnear, Kelly Reilly with Connor Corum playing the Colton the little boy that went to heaven.
The movie was shot with a budget of twelve million dollars ($12,million) but made a massive one hundred and twenty million, three hundred and forty one thousand, three hundred and forty nine dollars($120,341,349) at the box office.
