SENATOR GAYA DECLARES FOR GOVERNOR

Senator Kabiru Gaya, representing Kano South, on Thursday  24th April 2014 declared his intention to contest the Kano State governorship election under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2015. Gaya made the declaration while inaugurating the ICT Centre which he built at the Nigeria Union of Journalists Press Centre in Kano.
He is the current Senate Commitee Chairman on States &  Former Governor of Kano State during the ill fated 3rd Republic in 1992.
