A restaurant manager in Spain stabbed one of his waiters
with a 35cm long knife because he was taking too long to serve tables, police
said.
The brutal attack allegedly took place at an eatery in the
city centre of Valencia earlier this week.
It’s reported that the 30-year-old Indian manager was
constantly complaining about his staff member’s slowness in the job.
Things came to a head when the waiter answered back. The
pair argued.
The manager then allegedly threatened to kill the worker,
before grabbing the knife and sinking it various times into the man’s back.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was
treated for several knife wounds of varying depth, according to ABC Noticias.
His current condition is not known.
National Police officers were called to the scene and the
manager, who has not yet been named, was arrested.
He will now appear before a judge, accused of
assault and threatening behaviour.Yahoo News
